CHANGE A LIFE

About this campaign

Poverty is understood in many different ways.

The state of ‘poverty’ encompasses notions of limitations to, and deprivation of n resources, often focused on lack of income or access to food, but also including other material, social and psychological deprivations that affect individual well being. About one-fifth of the world’s population is affected by poverty, Uganda’s progress in reducing poverty over the last 2 decades is a remarkable story of success. From 1993 to 2006, the country registered an annual reduction in the national poverty rate by 1.9 percentage points as a result of the restoration of peace and stability to much of the country. Poverty reduction has remained impressive since 2006 even though it has fallen more slowly. 41.9% of the populations in Uganda live below the national poverty line of $1.90. its upon this background that we intend to carry out a CHANGE A LIFE PROJECT to help in bridging the poverty gaps and positively creating a change in people's lives especially with major focus of reaching out to our young sisters and brothers who are orphaned , less privileged and who have been heat the most in this Covid 19 situation in the most remote areas of Eastern Uganda (Africa) "Each single dollar counts and can be very instrumental in the creation of a better brighter world for the youngsters"
